June 26 . As pointed out by U.S. Surgeon General, face masks aren't meant to infringe on your freedom.
Face masks mean less asymptomatic viral spread — which means more places open (and sooner).
If more people wear face masks when out in public, we’ll all have more freedom to go out.
Reminder: Masks are required to enter Pennsylvania businesses.

June 2 IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR NAZARETH BOROUGH RESIDENTS REGARDING METER PARKING ENFORCEMENT AND STREET SWEEPING:
Per Nazareth Borough Council’s vote on Monday night June 1st, the enforcement of meter parking in the Borough will resume on Monday June 8th 2020 at 9:00AM.
Street Sweeping will resume on Tuesday morning June 9th 2020. Street Sweeping takes place on Tuesday’s and Fridays.
A NIXLE Alert was sent out this morning and this information will be posted on the Boroughs web page.
Back on March 24th, when we suspended meter parking and street sweeping, the Borough said it would provide advance notice when enforcement and street sweeping would resume.
This gives residents a full one week advance notice of the resumption of parking meter enforcement and street sweeping.

June 5 · The Nazareth Peaceful Protest will be held tomorrow from 4 – 7 pm. We are aware of the event and have been in touch with the organizers. We fully support our residents’ first amendment right to protest peacefully. Several neighboring towns have recently held similar protests without incident, and we anticipate the event in Nazareth will be the same. Our department will monitor traffic to ensure the safety of participants, residents, and those driving on the borough streets. There is a possibility that Main Street and the circle may be closed to traffic temporarily. We appreciate your patience with the protesters and with our department as we all work together to impact positive change in our community and ensure safety for all.
June 2 · Northampton County will soon be in the "yellow phase" and certain COVID-related restrictions will be lifted. In light of this, we will resume parking meter enforcement as of June 8 at 9 am. Let your friends and neighbors know to avoid a ticket. Please continue to take precautions and stay safe.

March 24 update - Because the Nazareth Area School District is closed, students who receive free/reduced-priced lunches are unable to get them. The Nazareth Moravian Church is providing lunches to these needy students. The program is being funded by Loaves and Fishes, a national organization that provides a meal for the less fortunate people who live among us.
Students may come to the church and enter on West Center Street between 12 and 1 to pick up the lunch. Students may choose a turkey, ham, or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The lunches also consist of cookies, a snack, a juice box, jello or pudding or fruit, and cheese.

In partnership with Lehigh Art Alliance, Nazareth Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the 2nd ANNUAL PLEIN AIR NAZARETH!
What are we doing for Plein Air Nazareth? We had to rethink. Time to be creative. The state IS ALLOWING (and quite simply encouraging) people to get out into nature and enjoy some fresh air. Plein air painters are able to get out and do what we all love! There are no restrictions that prevent us from this activity other than social distancing. So, Nazareth Center for the Arts in partnership with LAA will be moving the event online! Many Plein Air events are using technology to keep the art flowing. Here is how it will work.

You will have more than a month to paint.
Deadline June 15th, 2020.
All work will be for sale with a 20% commission to benefit

April 20 . Alright everyone here is another update, since it’s been awhile.
1. We are still open.
2. With the recent regulations/recommendations/implementations/guidelines we are requiring all customers to be wearing face masks/protection when entering the store. OR YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE SERVICE. Listen, we all need to get through this together and let’s not get sick.
3. I’m going to let everyone know that you can call ahead a deli or lunchmeat order if you would like to make your trip as quick as possible and not to worry about spending time in a line and near people.
4. We have limited the hot sandwiches to just BBQ and Meatballs, due to the slowdown in our lunchtime business. When the state gives the go ahead for more businesses to open up. I’m sure we will add sausage sandwiches back to the menu. BUT WE ARE LIMITING HOT SANDWICHES AT THIS TIME.

There are no parking signs on the meters on S. Main Street. Please note there will be no parking from 3:30pm to 7pm today.

I will be in front of the last bench, under a refreshing shade chilling with my coffee anytime after 9am so, anybody that is interested in joining me, can. I invite everyone reading this to meet up for a free one hour class. You can see in this photo that there will be plenty of room to put your mat six feet away from your neighbor. Don't worry about there being more than 25 of us, because even if all of us shared this with everyone we know, and they shared it with everyone that they know, we'd still have less than 25 people. ( most people like to simply 'watch' things happen, while far less choose to 'make' things happen) Now, back to yoga. This will be a wonderful class to help you stretch, strengthen, and lengthen your muscles while flowing into safe, biomechanically aligned poses. This is first and foremost a breathing modality. We breathe, we move. Harmony is than found as we mindfully steady our breath through whatever circumstances come along. Join me in this first class that I will be teaching, in over 90 days,

June 25. To All 101 E Center Salon Guests
We are opening on June 26th and will be following strict sanitation procedures recommended by the State Board and CDC.
Procedure for Guests returning for an appointment.
You must be wearing a mask before you come through the big white front doors of 101 E Center and will be greeted when entering the second doors. Your mask can not be removed at any point during your service.
We will have hand sanitizer to apply to your hands when you arrive and have you place any personal items in a plastic bag.
Please do not bring with you extra jackets, clothes or items that would need to be removed to service your hair and please do not bring any additional people as they will not be allowed into the salon.
Please bring any beverages with you as we are not allowed to offer any of the beverages we have in the past. We also request that you take anything with you that you might have brought into the salon.
Also please use the bathroom before you arrive, the bathroom will be available for emergency’s, but after each use I will have to sanitize the entire bathroom which will take away considerable time from me caring for guests hair.
This is a strange time and I hope you understand. At this point I am trying to do everything I can as 1 person to care for our guests hair during a time when it is still not even safe for me to hug my parents.
If you are feeling sick, have any symptoms, fever or have been exposed to anyone infected, We Ask That You Reschedule Your Appointment. If we discover that this is not followed we will ban the guests from any future services.

June 20 at 8:09 AM · It’s almost time!! In case you haven’t heard yet, hair salons and barber shops have finally been given the green light to open on Friday, June 26th. I will be accepting appointments, but I know many of you prefer to be able to just ‘walk-in’. So, I will be spacing out the appointments in an attempt to also accommodate some walk-ins. This is new territory for all of us, so be patient and I’ll try to get to all of you.
Masks will be required, and hand sanitizer will be provided. Feel free to call or message me with any questions or concerns.
I am so excited to get back to work and see all of you again! 🙂

After also covering the wooden jambs with aluminum to match the door and installing a Liftmaster WLED belt drive operator this job turned out amazing!😍

Gov. Wolf has allowed the construction industry go back to work. We are now allowed to do residential and commercial construction job.
We will be following the CDC and Pa rules for covid-19
All our employees have all safety equipment for in office and on job site.
Only one customer will be allowed in office wearing a mask at a time.
No customers will be allowed in shop area.
We will start scheduling estimates and job site installations as soon as possible.
